Factory tour / production processes

  Main entrance to Antuo Industrial's 72,000 sqm production, warehousing and office facilities in Ningbo.

  Raw material steel wire rods are transported in and discharged in the out-door yard for temporary storage.

  Steel wire rods are organized and stored in the raw material warehouse ready to be proceed. )

  Steel wire rods heat treated for spheroidize annealing. The process relieve the stress for easy forging and further machining.

  Acid wash is a surface treatment process to remove rust, oxide skin of steel wire, for the follow-up processes.

  After heat treatment and surface treatment, the steel wire rod is pulled to the needed gauge for the forging process>

  Steel wire rod is pulled to needed diameter / gauge and rolled back as a coil.

  Machinery lines for pulling steel wire rod to needed diameter. This finishes the pre-treatment of the steel wire rods that will be further transported to the cold forging shop.

  Forged parts are loaded in a vibration container to shake off the oil from the parts. The oil is used for the purpose of lubrication and heat dissipation during the forging process.

  A technician is performing forging mold installation. The job may take a day or two to install a set of forging molds and perform test-run. Once properly installed and configured, the automatic forging machine can make a few thousands of forging parts in a day.
• 
  Forging mold installed for test-run. A set of mold usually consist of 4 to 6 pair of molds. A designed length of steel rod is cut off from the coil and forged 4 to 6 times to gradually form the needed shape. The progress design of each mold pair is critical for the forging part quality.
